The today’s post is about the future tense in Spanish, in
particular "El futuro simple".
Probably this is one of the easiest verbs to from in Spanish
as you just have to add the endings for the future tense to the infinitive and ……the great new, despite many other
tenses, is that the endings are the same for all the conjugations (verbs ending
in AR , ER and IR).
So in terms of forming the future tense just add the
following endings to the infinitive of the verb :-é, -ás, -á, -emos, éis, án.
Ejemplos.
First
conjugation. Verbs ending in AR. Example: Hablar (To Speak)
Yo hablaré
Tú hablarás
Él/Ella hablará
Nosotros/as
hablaremos
Vosotros/as
hablaréis
Ellos/as hablarán
Second conjugation. Verbs ending in –ER. Example: Comer (To
eat)
Yo comeré
Tú comerás
Él/Ella comerá
Nosotros/as
comeremos
Vosotros/as
comeréis
Ellos/as comerán
Third conjugation. Verbs ending in –IR. Example : Vivir: (To
live)
Yo viviré
Tú vivirás
Él/ella vivirá
Nosotros/as
viviremos
Vosotros/as
vivirán
Ellos/as vivirán
As you see all the conjugations have the same endings and the infinitive form is embedded in it so definitely this is not most difficult
tense in Spanish!
Here you have some sentences in Spanish:
Mañana iré a
trabajar a Mallorca.
En el futuro
estudiaré en la universidad de Londres.
Mi hermano comerá
con nosotros el Domingo.
Mis amigos
jugarán al fútbol el sábado por la mañana.
Tus compañeros de
trabajo completarán el informe la semana próxima.
However some verbs do not use the infinitive as the stem of the verb, but
this is something we are going to see in another post about irregular future verbs.

de tus planes futuros y utiliza este timpo verbal para hablar de acontecimientos o
acciones que serán realizadas en futuro.
